Under Lebanon's current corrupt system, candidates running for election actually pay their constituents to buy their votes to get elected to a PUBLIC OFFICE! Once elected, they feel no shame in serving their own interest by advancing their business, ignoring their electorate's basic needs.
We aim to change this unhealthy behaviour by doing exactly the opposite: The Peoples' Platform is asking YOU, the voter, to contribute any amount you can to help elect candidates who represent us at the next parliamentary elections. Candidates, whose allegiance is to Lebanon first, who are running to protect citizens' rights, to improve their daily living conditions and to right the wrongdoings of previous administrations.
